Get Waylight working.
Waylight starts off on other websites. Open its toolbar button and turn it on for the site you want to read.
Desktop browsers
- Download the package for your browser from the Waylight home page.
- Install or load the extension using your browser's extension page.
- Open a normal webpage, choose the Waylight toolbar icon, and select Turn on for this site.
- Use Word anchors, Line focus, and Font independently. Inputs, email composers, code, and editable document areas are excluded.
Safari
After installing the Waylight app, open Safari > Settings > Extensions, enable Waylight, and allow website access when Safari asks. The extension remains off on unrelated sites until you turn it on.
PDFs and pasted text
Use the Waylight Reader. The file is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to Waylight.
Google Docs beta
The Docs beta adds bold formatting to the current document. It is not visual-only. Test it on a disposable copy, accept the warning only when you intend to change formatting, and use the restore command or Google version history if needed.
